ExxonMobil Baytown Area Sites Orientation     
Course Information
This course includes the following topics: Introduction, General Safety Rules, Personal Protective Equipment, Scaffold User, Safe Work Practices, General and Facility Security Awareness, Respiratory Protection, Hearing Conservation, Fire Prevention, Emergency Procedures, Radiation Hazards, Hazard Communication, Environmental Work Practices and Procedures, Work Permit System, Sensitive/Critical Equipment, and Conclusion. The Baytown Area Sites include the Baytown Complex (BTCX) which consists of Baytown Refinery (BTRF) and Baytown Chemical Plant (BTCP); Baytown Olefins Plant (BOP); Mont Belvieu Plastics Plant (MBPP); and Baytown Technology and Engineering Complex (BTEC). This course will replace the Site-Specific courses for the aforementioned Baytown Area Sites and will be required upon expiration of the trainee’s existing Site-Specific training. The course tests throughout and trainees are given three opportunities to answer each question. When a trainee answers a question incorrectly on their third attempt, they will automatically be failed out of the course at the end of the section. Upon successful completion of the course, the proctor will provide the trainee with the yellow Baytown Area Site Alarm Tone Emergency Response sticker.
