Course Information
Basic Orientation Plus Refresher - BOPR Edition: 2016 This is an annual update for the BOP (Basic Orientation Plus) course. Successful completion of this training allows participants to obtain the ARSC reciprocal card. The purpose of this course is to reduce injuries by educating workers so that they will have a better understanding and knowledge of safety. The following topics meet awareness level training; Process Safety Management (PSM), General Safety, Hazard Communication, Personal Protective Equipment, Respiratory Protection, Hearing Conservation, Electrical Safety for Unqualified Workers, Lockout/Tagout, Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Excavation, Trenching, Shoring, Job Safety Analysis, Emergency Action Plan and Fire Prevention. A test of 50 questions is to follow, the trainee will have 90 minutes to complete the BOPR Test.
